Responsibilities
- Process and maintain veteran benefit documentation with 99% accuracy
- Coordinate interdepartmental communications and scheduling for leadership teams
- Manage electronic records systems (VA VISTA) and ensure compliance with federal regulations
- Prepare official correspondence, reports, and statistical summaries for congressional reviews
- Train staff on new administrative protocols and software implementations
- Conduct quality assurance audits for all processed claims and applications
- Serve as primary liaison between veterans and benefit specialists
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required (per federal employment guidelines)
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience with federal document handling
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic record management systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain Tier 3 background clearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with VA-specific software preferred but not required
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license (for occasional off-site duties)
- Associates degree in Business Administration or related field
