Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit claims with 99.8% accuracy
- Coordinate multi-agency communications and documentation
- Manage confidential veteran records under HIPAA/FERPA compliance
- Generate weekly payroll reports for 50+ personnel
- Support veteran outreach events across Los Angeles County
- Maintain compliance with federal procurement regulations (FAR)
- Train junior staff on VA systems protocols
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years federal administrative experience
- Proficiency in VA VISTA and HR systems
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations
- Spanish bilingual certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
- Experience with veteran affairs documentation
