Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain confidential veteran records and documentation in compliance with federal regulations
- Coordinate and schedule high-priority meetings, briefings, and travel arrangements for senior leadership
- Process personnel actions, timekeeping, and payroll submissions using federal systems (e.g., HRIS, eOPF)
- Provide frontline administrative support to veterans and their families, ensuring timely resolution of inquiries
- Prepare official correspondence, reports, and briefing materials for internal and external stakeholders
- Implement and monitor office procedures to ensure compliance with federal guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support special projects and initiatives
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship (required for federal employment)
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in a government or regulated environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong knowledge of federal records management and privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, FERPA)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
