Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will manage high-volume correspondence, schedule executive meetings, and maintain confidential government records. You will serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all administrative functions run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring all communications are accurate, timely, and compliant with federal standards.
- Schedule and coordinate complex calendars for senior federal officials, including travel arrangements and meeting logistics.
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic filing systems, ensuring data integrity and easy retrieval.
- Process travel vouchers, purchase orders, and expense reports using government accounting software.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, briefings, and presentations for management review.
- Screen and direct phone calls and visitors, maintaining a professional and secure office environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or certification in Business Administration preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in administrative support, preferably within a government or corporate setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and federal case management software.
- Strong understanding of federal regulations, privacy laws, and record-keeping requirements.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
