- Process and verify veteran benefit applications with 99% accuracy
- Manage electronic filing systems and maintain confidential records
- Coordinate with veteran families and stakeholders via phone/email
- Generate reports using federal databases and Microsoft Office Suite
- Support cross-functional teams during high-volume processing periods
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and privacy protocols
- Train on VA-specific systems and procedures (full provided)
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and federal employment eligibility
- Minimum 1 year administrative/clerical experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to pass federal background check
- Strong attention to detail with data entry skills
- Excellent written/verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including potential weekends
- Experience with federal systems (e.g., VA, CMS) preferred
