Responsibilities
- Manage veteran benefit applications and documentation processing
- Coordinate with federal agencies and state partners for compliance
- Prepare accurate reports for congressional inquiries and performance metrics
- Maintain confidential records in accordance with federal privacy laws
- Support veterans with inquiries regarding benefits and services
- Assist in policy implementation and procedural improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on veteran outreach initiatives
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years federal or state government experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and federal databases
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Veterans Affairs policies and procedures
- Experience with case management systems
