Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain confidential veteran records in compliance with federal privacy laws (HIPAA/VA regulations)
- Process administrative paperwork including benefits applications and correspondence
- Coordinate scheduling for veteran appointments and departmental meetings
- Prepare official reports and maintain digital filing systems
- Communicate with veterans and stakeholders regarding benefit inquiries
- Support budget tracking and procurement processes
- Ensure all documentation meets federal audit standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience in federal/government setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Knowledge of VA regulations and veteran services preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal background clearance
- Strong attention to detail with data accuracy verification skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- U.S. citizenship required
- Associates degree or relevant certification preferred
