- Process complex benefit claims with 100% accuracy and timeliness
- Provide expert guidance on federal regulations and eligibility requirements
- Collaborate with legal teams to resolve benefit disputes
- Maintain confidential records in compliance with federal data security protocols
- Conduct outreach to underserved veteran communities across Texas
- Train staff on updated federal benefit policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in federal benefits administration
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency with VA systems and federal regulations (38 CFR)
- Exceptional communication skills for veteran consultations
- Texas residency required for position eligibility
- Certification in Federal Benefits Management preferred
- Experience with veteran-focused nonprofit organizations a plus
