Responsibilities
- Administer federal employee benefits programs including health, life, and retirement plans
- Provide expert guidance on complex benefit regulations and policy interpretations
- Conduct benefit enrollment campaigns and training sessions for federal employees
- Analyze program data to identify trends and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with OPM and other agencies on benefit policy initiatives
- Ensure compliance with FEHB, FERS, and other federal regulations
- Develop educational materials for diverse employee populations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience with federal benefits programs (FEHB/FERS)
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting federal regulations
- Excellent communication abilities for diverse audiences
- Professional certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CEBS) preferred
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and data visualization tools
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
