In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for personnel matters during weekend operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and compliance with federal standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage and process all personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and leave requests, during weekend operations.
- Administer federal benefits programs, ensuring employees receive accurate information regarding health insurance, retirement, and paid time off.
- Ensure strict compliance with Office of Personnel Management (OPM) regulations and agency-specific policies.
- Review and maintain confidential personnel files and records with the highest level of accuracy.
- Coordinate with HR management to resolve complex issues arising from weekend staffing and operations.
- Prepare and submit weekly compliance reports to federal oversight committees.
- Assist in the onboarding of new federal contractors during weekend shifts.
Qualifications
- United States Citizenship and the ability to obtain a favorable background investigation/security clearance.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in federal personnel administration or benefits management.
- Strong working knowledge of OPM regulations, GS pay scales, and federal HR policies.
- Availability to work a consistent weekend schedule (Saturday and Sunday).
- Proficiency in federal HR software systems (e.g., Defense Finance and Accounting Service, eOPF).
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
