Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning duties including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing restroom facilities.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners in federal offices and common areas.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report low stock levels to management.
- Ensure all safety protocols and federal regulations regarding workplace hygiene are strictly followed.
- Address minor maintenance issues and report significant repairs to the maintenance department immediately.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while interacting with federal personnel and visitors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be eligible for a Federal background check and security clearance.
- Previous experience in custodial services, janitorial work, or facilities maintenance is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
- Reliable transportation is required.
