Responsibilities

- Review medical documentation and service records for eligibility determination
- Utilize VA systems (VBMS, VBA) for claim processing and documentation
- Communicate claim status updates to veterans and family members
- Collaborate with medical examiners and legal teams for complex cases
- Maintain strict compliance with federal regulations and privacy laws
- Train junior staff on claim processing protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field
- Minimum 2 years' experience in claims processing or federal benefits
- Proficiency in VA systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of 38 CFR regulations and veterans' benefits
- Strong attention to detail and data verification skills
