Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' benefit claims with 99% accuracy
- Interpret complex federal regulations (38 CFR) and apply them to case scenarios
- Communicate with veterans, family members, and legal representatives regarding claim status
- Maintain detailed case documentation in VA's electronic records system
- Collaborate with medical and legal teams to resolve complex benefit disputes
- Adhere to strict HIPAA and privacy compliance standards
- Participate in quarterly process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in claims processing or customer service
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data entry systems
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
- Valid Florida driver's license (for occasional travel to regional offices)
