Responsibilities
- Review and adjudicate veterans' benefit claims with 95% accuracy
- Conduct virtual interviews with claimants nationwide
- Apply complex federal regulations (38 CFR) to determine eligibility
- Prepare detailed decision documents within strict deadlines
- Collaborate with medical/legal teams for evidence gathering
- Maintain confidential case files in VA databases
- Provide ongoing support throughout appeals processes
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- 1+ year claims processing experience
- Knowledge of federal benefit programs (VA/SSDI/SSI)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and VA systems
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong written communication skills
- Valid state driver's license
- Security clearance eligibility (must pass background check)
