Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce federal compliance regulations across VA facilities
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments for healthcare programs
- Develop and implement compliance training protocols for staff
- Collaborate with legal teams on regulatory updates and policy changes
- Investigate and resolve compliance violations with corrective action plans
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior leadership
- Ensure HIPAA and federal healthcare standards are maintained
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years of federal compliance experience
- Valid federal security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of VA regulations and healthcare compliance frameworks
- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with federal grant management and reporting
- Proficiency in compliance management software
