Responsibilities
- Conduct weekend compliance audits of VA healthcare facilities
- Review federal regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, CMS) and implement corrective actions
- Prepare detailed weekend shift compliance reports for regional leadership
- Train staff on weekend-specific safety protocols and regulatory updates
- Coordinate with weekend medical teams to resolve compliance issues
- Maintain electronic compliance documentation systems
- Participate in cross-departmental weekend operations reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field
- Minimum 3 years federal compliance or healthcare regulatory experience
- Valid Texas Notary Public commission or willingness to obtain
- Weekend shift availability (Saturday/Sunday, 6am-6pm)
- Proficiency in VA compliance tracking systems (VISTA, VLER)
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Knowledge of 38 CFR and VA healthcare regulations
