Responsibilities
- Monitor and implement federal regulatory compliance for VA healthcare facilities
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments for HIPAA and OSHA standards
- Develop compliance training programs for 200+ staff members
- Coordinate with federal agencies (CMS, DOL) on regulatory updates
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior leadership
- Investigate and resolve compliance violations with corrective action plans
- Manage electronic health record (EHR) compliance protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years of federal regulatory compliance experience
- VA-specific compliance certification (preferred)
- Expert knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and 42 CFR Part 2
- Advanced proficiency in compliance management software
- Valid U.S. government security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills
