Responsibilities
- Monitor and implement federal regulatory changes across city departments
- Coordinate with federal agencies to ensure compliance with HUD, EPA, and OMB guidelines
- Develop compliance training programs for 500+ municipal employees
- Conduct internal audits and prepare detailed compliance reports
- Advise senior leadership on regulatory risks and mitigation strategies
- Manage grant compliance for $50M+ federal funding allocations
- Liaise with legal counsel on compliance-related litigation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law, or related field
- 3+ years federal compliance experience in government sector
- Deep knowledge of federal regulations (CFR, FAR, and agency-specific rules)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in compliance software (e.g., Salesforce Compliance Cloud)
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects with competing deadlines
- Active security clearance preferred
