Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce federal regulatory compliance across state and local government entities
- Conduct audits and risk assessments of security protocols and infrastructure
- Coordinate interagency collaboration with FEMA, FBI, and NC Emergency Management
- Develop compliance frameworks for public-private partnerships in critical infrastructure
- Prepare detailed reports for congressional oversight and agency leadership
- Train state/local officials on federal security requirements and best practices
- Manage grant allocations and ensure proper utilization of federal funds
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Criminal Justice, or related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in federal/state/local government compliance
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Expert knowledge of CFR Title 44, FISMA, and NC state security statutes
- Proficient in GSA MAX and federal grant management systems
- Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with regulatory interpretation experience
- Experience managing cross-jurisdictional security initiatives
