Responsibilities
- Analyze and implement federal healthcare regulations (HIPAA, VA directives) across facility operations
- Conduct internal audits and compliance risk assessments
- Develop training programs for staff on regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with federal agencies for policy updates and enforcement
- Maintain accurate compliance documentation and reporting systems
- Lead cross-departmental compliance initiatives
- Represent the facility during federal audits and reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years of federal compliance or regulatory experience
- Knowledge of VA healthcare regulations and CMS standards
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
- Project management certification (PMP or similar) preferred
- Experience with federal procurement processes
