Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large-scale federal datasets to support high-stakes decision-making processes.
- Develop and maintain statistical models, data visualizations, and dashboards to communicate complex findings to stakeholders.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations, agency standards, and security protocols regarding data privacy and protection.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify data gaps and optimize reporting workflows.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, briefings, and presentations for senior leadership and congressional staff.
- Perform data quality assurance checks and implement best practices for data governance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Public Administration, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government, defense, or intelligence sectors.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or Tableau; experience with SAS or SPSS is a plus.
- Strong understanding of federal data standards, geographic information systems (GIS), and data modeling.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (Secret or Top Secret).
