Responsibilities
- Monitor and audit healthcare operations for compliance with federal regulations (HIPAA, VA directives, etc.)
- Investigate and resolve compliance violations with corrective action plans
- Develop training programs for staff on regulatory requirements and best practices
- Coordinate with legal teams to ensure alignment with federal policy changes
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior leadership and regulatory bodies
- Lead internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed compliance standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in federal compliance or healthcare regulatory affairs
- Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or equivalent preferred
- Deep knowledge of federal healthcare regulations (VA, HIPAA, CMS)
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
