Responsibilities
- Analyze federal regulations (HIPAA, VA policies) for healthcare compliance
- Conduct risk assessments and develop corrective action plans
- Coordinate with clinical teams to implement compliance protocols
- Prepare detailed audit reports for senior leadership
- Train staff on regulatory updates and best practices
- Monitor compliance metrics and report trends to OIG
- Collaborate with legal counsel on policy interpretations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years experience in federal compliance or healthcare regulation
- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) preferred
- Advanced knowledge of VA healthcare systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-stakes environment
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
