Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce federal compliance standards for veteran benefit programs during weekend operations
- Conduct detailed audits of documentation and case files to ensure regulatory adherence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve compliance issues and process improvements
- Prepare comprehensive reports on weekend compliance activities for senior leadership review
- Train weekend staff on updated federal regulations and procedural changes
- Respond to urgent compliance inquiries from stakeholders and veteran beneficiaries
- Maintain accurate electronic records using VA's proprietary systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience with federal compliance regulations (FAR, DFARS, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management software
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Valid U.S. government security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Experience working with veterans' affairs programs or similar federal systems
