Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to federal regulations (FISMA, NIST, FAR) across agency systems
- Conduct weekly audits and compliance reporting for 15+ critical systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security protocol implementation
- Manage documentation for federal certification processes
- Train staff on compliance procedures and best practices
- Monitor system vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies
- Prepare weekly status reports for senior leadership
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in federal compliance or IT auditing
- Proficiency with NIST SP 800-53 controls framework
- Experience with GSA Schedule procurement processes
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision
