Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce institutional rules during night shifts
- Conduct security rounds and headcounts to maintain facility safety protocols
- Respond to emergencies, including medical incidents and security breaches
- Process inmate transfers and maintain accurate documentation
- Operate perimeter security systems and control room equipment
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during joint operations
- Prepare detailed shift reports and incident documentation
Qualifications
- US Citizenship and valid driver's license
- Minimum of 1 year specialized experience in security or corrections
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret security clearance
- Physical fitness to pass defensive tactics and firearms qualification
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Successful completion of background investigation and polygraph
- Basic computer skills for documentation systems
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification (or obtain within 90 days)
