Responsibilities
- Monitor and supervise inmates in correctional facilities during weekend shifts
- Conduct regular security inspections and enforce facility protocols
- Respond to emergencies and incidents with de-escalation techniques
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of all activities and incidents
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during weekend operations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Provide support to inmates during rehabilitation programs on weekends
Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age with valid Florida driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Successful completion of background investigation and polygraph
- Must pass physical fitness assessment and medical examination
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- No felony convictions and clean criminal history
- Ability to work flexible weekends and holidays
- Experience in security, military, or law enforcement preferred
