Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce federal correctional policies during night shifts
- Conduct regular perimeter inspections and facility security checks
- Respond to emergencies, disturbances, and medical incidents with swift action
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies during transport operations
- Screen visitors and incoming packages for contraband
- Operate security systems including CCTV and access control panels
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum age 20 (max 37 for federal correctional roles)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
