Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce institutional regulations to maintain security
- Conduct regular patrols and headcounts to prevent contraband and escapes
- Respond to emergencies, disturbances, and medical incidents with tactical precision
- Document daily operations and incident reports using federal systems
- Escort inmates within the facility and to court appearances
- Implement rehabilitation programs and behavior modification strategies
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid driver's license
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Fri-Sun)
- Physical fitness to pass annual fitness assessment
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic computer literacy and documentation skills
