Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and security audits for federal clients to ensure compliance with NIST and FISMA standards.
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for potential security breaches and implement incident response protocols.
- Manage and maintain secure access controls, including PKI and SSO implementations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy secure IT infrastructure solutions.
- Prepare and present security posture reports to stakeholders and government leadership.
- Stay current with evolving cybersecurity threats and recommend proactive mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles within a federal or government contracting environment.
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-53, and FedRAMP.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH are highly desirable.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and vulnerability management scanners.
