Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze cyber threats targeting federal systems using SIEM tools
- Incident response coordination for security breaches within federal networks
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies for zero-day vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with NCIS and FBI on joint security operations
- Conduct penetration testing on classified government systems
- Prepare detailed threat intelligence reports for DHS leadership
- Maintain compliance with NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP standards
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (TS/SCI preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
- 3+ years experience with Splunk/IBM QRadar
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or CISSP certification
- Experience with federal IT security frameworks
- Proficiency in Python and PowerShell scripting
- Ability to obtain DHS Suitability Determination
