Responsibilities
- Safeguard federal networks using advanced intrusion detection and prevention systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Develop incident response protocols for cyber-attacks and data breaches
- Collaborate with NCIS and FBI on joint cybersecurity operations
- Maintain compliance with NIST and FISMA security frameworks
- Train federal personnel on cybersecurity best practices
- Monitor 24/7 threat intelligence feeds and respond to alerts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification required
- Minimum 3 years of enterprise cybersecurity experience
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network analysis
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Experience with federal IT security policies (NIST SP 800-53)
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
