Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor advanced cybersecurity protocols across federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified networks
- Lead incident response for cyber threats with 24/7 on-call rotation
- Develop security awareness training programs for federal personnel
- Collaborate with FBI, NSA, and other federal partners on threat intelligence
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST, and federal cybersecurity frameworks
- Manage security audits and compliance reporting for Illinois-based facilities
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years experience in enterprise-level security operations
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat detection
- Knowledge of federal IT security policies and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
