Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect and respond to cybersecurity incidents
- Implement and maintain security controls for federal systems and data
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response plans and coordinate recovery efforts
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST, and DHS cybersecurity standards
- Train federal staff on cybersecurity best practices
- Collaborate with federal partners on threat intelligence sharing
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification
- Knowledge of federal security frameworks (FISMA, NIST)
- Experience with SIEM tools and threat detection systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
