Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on DoD networks
- Monitor security operations center (SOC) alerts and respond to incidents within SLAs
- Implement and maintain NIST 800-53 compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture reviews
- Develop incident response playbooks and conduct tabletop exercises
- Prepare security clearance documentation and audit reports
- Mentor junior cybersecurity analysts on federal compliance protocols
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance required
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years experience in federal cybersecurity roles
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Demonstrated experience with FedRAMP and CMMC requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD 8570 compliance
