Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations for executive leadership
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on joint intelligence initiatives
- Prepare detailed reports and briefings for senior officials
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines for real-time analytics
- Lead data quality improvement initiatives across agency systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in federal government data analysis
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and visualization tools (Tableau)
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Familiarity with federal data governance frameworks
- Experience with large-scale dataset processing (100M+ records)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Certification in data analytics (e.g., AWS Data Analytics) a plus
