Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and security threats
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and R for federal compliance
- Create interactive visualizations and dashboards for executive briefings and agency reports
- Ensure data integrity across federal systems following FISMA and NIST guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to support homeland security operations
- Document methodologies and findings in compliance with federal record-keeping standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience with federal data analysis (DHS, DoD, or DoE background a plus)
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain Secret clearance
- Familiarity with federal data governance frameworks (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for sensitive data
- Experience with geospatial data analysis for security applications
