Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and patterns supporting homeland security operations
- Develop and maintain automated reporting dashboards using SQL, Python, and R
- Collaborate with federal agencies to align data strategies with national objectives
- Ensure compliance with federal data governance standards (FISMA, NIST)
- Present findings to stakeholders through executive briefings and technical documentation
- Manage data quality initiatives including validation, cleansing, and normalization
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience with federal data systems and reporting requirements
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and data visualization tools (Tableau)
- Familiarity with homeland security data frameworks (CBP, ICE, TSA)
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modeling
- Ability to handle sensitive data with strict confidentiality protocols
