Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Design and implement automated data pipelines ensuring compliance with federal security protocols
- Create interactive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders across federal agencies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable policy recommendations
- Maintain strict adherence to FISMA, HIPAA, and other federal data governance standards
- Present findings to senior leadership through compelling visualizations and written reports
- Stay current with evolving federal data regulations and emerging analytics technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with federal data systems and compliance requirements
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Proven experience creating executive-level data visualizations with Tableau or Power BI
- Strong understanding of federal data regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, 21st Century IDEA Act)
- Certification in data security (e.g., CISSP, CIPP/E) highly desirable
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex data for non-technical audiences
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance (required)
