Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to support defense intelligence operations
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for executive decision-making
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with federal security protocols (FISMA, NISPOM)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to identify trends and anomalies in national security data
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise technical briefings and reports
- Maintain documentation of data pipelines, methodologies, and analytical frameworks
- Stay current on emerging analytics tools and federal data governance regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years experience in federal data analysis or defense sector
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical modeling
- Security clearance eligibility (Top Secret/SCI desired)
- Advanced knowledge of federal data privacy laws (HIPAA, PII handling)
- Tableau/Power BI certification or equivalent dashboard development experience
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to national security priorities
