Responsibilities
- Analyze large-scale federal datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support agency objectives.
- Develop and maintain complex data models and statistical analyses using SQL, Python, and R.
- Create interactive dashboards and visual reports in Tableau and PowerBI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Ensure all data handling processes comply with federal standards, OMB guidelines, and security protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and optimize reporting workflows.
- Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure the integrity of federal information systems.
- Prepare technical documentation and presentations for executive leadership and government clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis, specifically within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (Advanced querying) and programming languages such as Python or R.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik).
- Deep understanding of federal compliance regulations, including FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
