Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights
- Develop automated reporting dashboards using provided tools (Tableau, SQL, Python)
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to support policy development
- Present findings to senior leadership via visualizations and executive summaries
- Maintain data integrity using provided ETL tools and quality control frameworks
- Contribute to continuous improvement of federal data management systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience with federal data analysis (GS-12 equivalent preferred)
- Expertise in SQL, Python/R, and visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Active security clearance eligibility or ability to obtain one
- Familiarity with federal data standards (FIPS, NIST frameworks)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders
