Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex financial datasets to detect fraud patterns and support federal investigations
- Develop automated data pipelines using Python/SQL to streamline reporting processes
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations for Treasury leadership using Tableau
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, HIPAA) and privacy regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven recommendations for policy development
- Document analytical methodologies and maintain data quality standards for audit readiness
- Present findings to senior officials through concise executive summaries and briefings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related quantitative field
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal/government datasets
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical modeling
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and reporting platforms
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Familiarity with federal data governance frameworks and compliance requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Professional certification (e.g., CDA, AWS Data Analytics) preferred
