Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal healthcare datasets to identify trends and generate actionable insights for policy development
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and R for large-scale federal datasets
- Create compelling visualizations and dashboards using Tableau/Power BI to communicate findings to senior leadership
- Ensure all data handling complies with HIPAA, FISMA, and federal data privacy regulations
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to standardize data collection methodologies across federal programs
- Present findings to congressional stakeholders and federal policymakers through clear, concise reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Policy, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal or healthcare datasets
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Familiarity with federal data regulations (HIPAA, FISMA, 21st Century Cures Act)
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
