Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets to identify trends and inform strategic decisions
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations for executive leadership and congressional stakeholders
- Ensure data integrity through rigorous quality control and validation protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define analytical requirements and deliverables
- Prepare comprehensive reports and briefings on findings and recommendations
- Stay current with evolving federal data regulations and privacy standards (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Maintain secure data management systems in compliance with federal security protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal datasets preferred
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, R, Python, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and experimental design methodologies
- Familiarity with federal data systems (e.g., USA Spending, Data.gov) and reporting requirements
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Active federal security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Certification in data analytics or related field (e.g., CDA, PMP) a plus
