Responsibilities
- Analyze complex, high-volume datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights for federal agencies.
- Design and maintain interactive data visualization dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting requirements.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with federal security and data governance standards.
- Prepare detailed reports, executive summaries, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders.
- Perform data cleaning and normalization to support statistical modeling and forecasting.
- Document data processes and methodologies to facilitate knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Background Clearance (e.g., Secret/Top Secret) is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
