Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on baggage using X-ray machines and metal detectors
- Conduct pat-down searches and explosive trace detection
- Operate advanced security technology (CT scanners, ETDs)
- Identify and resolve security threats with calm professionalism
- Enforce TSA security protocols with customer service focus
- Maintain accurate security documentation and incident reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement during security incidents
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship (required)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Pass extensive background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Clear English communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts/nights/holidays
- No felony convictions or disqualifying employment history
