Responsibilities
- Analyze veteran healthcare data using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Design interactive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data governance standards (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define analytical requirements
- Present findings to senior leadership through compelling data visualizations
- Develop automated reporting pipelines for recurring federal mandates
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis for special projects and congressional requests
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience in government or regulated industry
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis
- Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with federal reporting requirements and compliance frameworks
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
