Responsibilities
- Advanced Data Processing: Collect, clean, and validate large datasets to ensure accuracy for federal reporting requirements.
- Visual Analytics: Develop interactive dashboards and visual reports using Tableau or PowerBI to present key performance indicators to government stakeholders.
- Statistical Modeling: Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within federal databases.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all data handling and reporting processes strictly adhere to federal standards and security protocols (NIST, FISMA).
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation and data dictionaries to support system maintenance and knowledge transfer.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to translate complex data findings into clear, actionable business recommendations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of SQL, Python, R, or SAS. Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Tools: Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik.
- Security Clearance: Active or ability to obtain a Public Trust or Secret clearance is required.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
