Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets to identify security trends and operational inefficiencies
- Develop automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and R for real-time monitoring systems
- Create interactive visualizations (Tableau/Power BI) for executive briefings and policy recommendations
- Ensure compliance with federal data standards (FISMA, HIPAA) and security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to integrate data from multiple federal sources
- Document analytical methodologies and maintain data dictionaries for audit readiness
- Mentor junior analysts on federal data governance best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal datasets
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical modeling
- Advanced knowledge of federal data regulations (FISMA, 21st Century IDEA Act)
- Security clearance eligibility or existing active clearance
